Activity Instructions
It is very satisfying to complete a mandela. Colouring is great for focusing on a task and stress relief.
1. Create a quiet atmosphere by finding a quiet space away from distraction.
2. Turn on calming instrumental music.
3. Before the program begins, ask participants the following questions:
How do you feel right now?
Is there something that is worrying you?
4. Hand out mandelas and colouring stationary.
5. Begin colouring!
6. At the end of the program, check in with participants again and ask the following question:
How are you feeling right now compared to how you felt before starting the activity?
